Our approach
We take a privacy-first and security-conscious approach to how data is handled across the Share of Conversation platform.
The Service is designed primarily to analyse aggregated, anonymised, and publicly available data, rather than personal consumer data.
Data we process
We process limited personal data, typically including:
Contact details (name, email, company)
Enquiry and report request information
Basic website usage data (analytics)
We do not typically process:
Sensitive personal data
Consumer-level behavioural data
Personally identifiable data from AI recommendations or search results
Nature of insights data
Share of Conversation insights are generated using:
AI-generated recommendation outputs
Publicly available search and product data
All outputs are:
Statistical and analytical
Category-level and brand-level
Not linked to identifiable individuals
AI and automated processing
We use AI systems to analyse:
Brand visibility
Recommendation pattern
Competitive positioning
These systems:
Operate on non-personal datasets
Are used for analytical purposes only
Do not make decisions about individuals
Do not produce legal or similarly significant effects
Data security measures
We implement appropriate technical and organisational safeguards, including:
Secure hosting environments
Encryption in transit where applicable
Access controls and authentication
Role-based access to systems and data
Access to data is restricted to authorised personnel and trusted service providers operating under contractual obligations.
Data separation
Where client data is provided:
It is processed in a segregated manner
It is not combined with other client datasets
It is not used to train third-party AI models
